Pretty much the ultimate stoner-metal band, California’s Sleep attained near-legendary status in the ’90s on the strength of its ultra-extended slo-mo epics. The trio splintered into the highly revered outfits High on Fire and Om, but has regrouped sporadically in recent years, and boy are we are glad.
