Murder Ballads and Dark Songs

This Halloween weekend, cultural center 2220 Arts + Archives will welcome a lineup of singer-songwriters with a macabre theme in mind. Retro powerhouse Nick Waterhouse headlines, joined by the likes of Pearl Charles, Will Worden, CB Brand, Trap Girl, Bloody Death Skull and more, to entertain us with their favorite tunes about wicked deeds and sinister fascinations. The set list will span both centuries-old ballads and contemporary tunes, as well as originals by the bands. Murder ballads are always wickedly fun, especially so on Halloween.
