Marina and the Diamonds

Flamboyant and frankly gorgeous Welsh singer Marina Diamandis hits the Southland for a pair of headline shows, following a stateside trip last year supporting Katy Perry. The 27-year-old singer offers up a more commercial, dance-oriented slant on quirk pop with her second opus, 2012's Electra Heart, which features such songwriting big-hitters as Stargate and Dr. Luke. Expect a cheeky and energetic set from this highly stylized popstrel.
