Gary Clark Jr. isn't new to the game, it's just taken a little longer for him to make his way through our speakers. But when this blues-banging, guitar-riffing Texan sang "You gonna know my name by the end of the night," in his catchy single "Bright Lights," he wasn't kidding. When you've shared a stage with legends like B.B. King, Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck, and are asked to salute Buddy Guy with the likes of Tracy Chapman and Bonnie Raitt (35th Annual Kennedy Center Honors, 2012), talented is an understatement.
