FILTER's three-day Culture Collide Festival brought a mix of art, music, film and more to the Eastside 'hood of Echo Park over the weekend. The fest took place in some local institutions such as
the Echo,
Taix, and Lot 1 Café and featured artistic ambassadors from 24 countries including Senegal, Latvia and Japan. Though there were some snafus (raise your hand if you were turned away from Rhye's tiny show), it was an intimate, friendly and booze-fueled exploration of indie music from around the world. Here are our best shots from the weekend.
