Art-pop duo Buke and Gase offers an infectious marriage of angularity and exuberance. Its customized implements (a baritone ukulele and a hybrid guitar-bass) may seem rarefied, but its wide-eyed energy could win anyone over. Expect a few numbers off of General Dome, out in January.
