Ambient Church

Check out ambient music in a majestic setting. Ambient Church, a self-described “nomadic” concert series, moves from church to church around L.A. (as it does in Brooklyn, where the series originated), hosting captivating performances from artists working in “meditative, devotional, and minimal” styles. For its next show, avant-garde composer William Basinski plays his latest work, On Time Out of Time, in a 132-year-old Pasadena church.
