The Natural History Museum’s inviting new front porch is opening its doors this Sunday with a free indoor-outdoor event. Meet Gnatalie, a green sauropod dinosaur skeleton, and view the landmark mural L.A. History: A Mexican Perspective. You’ll also find a block party with food, DJ sets, hands-on activities, artist workshops, meet-and-greets with scientists and collection previews. Indoor programming kicking off at 11am in the Commons Theater includes talks and dance performances, but note that you’ll need a wristband for entry.
