‘Westermann: Memorial to the Idea of Man If He Was an Idea’ screening and Q&A

This 3-D documentary tells the story of artist and acrobat H. C. (Cliff) Westermann through the surreal artworks he created to process the horrors he witnessed on the front lines of the Korean War. This free screening at the Hammer Museum will be followed by a Q&A with director Leslie Buchbinder as well as legendary local artists Frank Gehry and Ed Ruscha, who are both interviewed in the film.
