The LA Opera and the Theatre at Ace Hotel once again join forces for a chilling mash-up of live music and film. Hole up in the Ace’s gothic auditorium for a screening of the 1931 Boris Karloff classic, Frankenstein, complete with a live accompaniment from LA Opera Orchestra—the movie was actually released without a score, so composer Michael Shapiro has crafted an entirely fresh soundtrack.
