This motel's main attraction is its neon sign, with its Googie-style text and a spear and shield. But of course, you're not staying here for the sign, you're more concerned about the comfort (and free Wi-Fi and parking). The 1955 hotel stays true to its name with zebra, leopard and giraffe prints in its clean, quiet but otherwise unassuming rooms. It's also a popular filming spot, and has acted as the setting for everything from Apollo 13 to True Romance, for which it hosts a dedicated fan fest.
