Hyatt Regency Century Plaza (CLOSED)

No surprises: this is simply a comfortable and efficient hotel that offers a lot of services designed to please the Hyatt's legions of business travelers. The architecture is rather corporate (the views from the building are more appealing than the views of it) and the interior is predictable. Still, there's something to be said for the convenience, the reliability and the sheer size of the place. Round-the-clock room service is a plus, as are the capacious fitness center and the spa (which features 27 treatment rooms).
