Formerly a speakeasy and then a rather seedy hotel, the Grafton was given a huge makeover prior to its reopening in 2000. It's now pretty modern, but its four suites pay homage to Hollywood troublemakers of yore: the Rat Pack is (or attempts to be) a swingin' bachelor pad, while the Jane is dressed with come-hither satin sheets. The other rooms are decorated with an eye on the funseeking hipsters who constitute the target audience. The Mediterranean-inspired garden area is a real boon, and the salt-water pool is another attractive feature.
