Prado Regional Park

More than just a park, this 2,000-acre outdoor recreational area located about an hour east of Los Angeles offers typical facilites like hiking, biking and nature trails and picnic facilities, as well as fishing, camping, frisbee gold, two 18-hole golf courses, an Olympic shooting range, a 585-acre dog-training facility, a field for flying remote control model airplanes, horseback riding and archery. And you thought Griffith Park was fancy.
