You probably heard your parents belting out a tune or two ("Summer Nights" anyone?) from the film's wildly popular soundtrack. Dancers dance, singers sing, and in Grease, both coalesce beautifully in an ode to young love. Greaser Danny (John Travolta) and good girl Sandy (Olivia Newton-John) meet in the summer of 1959 by the beach. But it's a brief dalliance as Sandy returns to her hometown Australia – that is, until fate brings them back into each other's lives in senior year of high school. Set to infectious catchy sing-alongs and bubbling with sun-soaked energy, this 1978 musical is one for all ages.
