Katrina Davis cut her teeth doing roast battles at the Comedy Store, and with quiet confidence she can expertly criticize without being cynical. For this unique stand-up show, she’s taking inspiration from Marina Abramovic’s famous performance piece, The Artist Is Present: Davis will meet one-on-one with 50 volunteers, with Davis in silence and each volunteer spending their minute across from her however they see fit. Afterwards, Davis will wrap up all of those feelings, thoughts and experiences into an hour-long stand-up set. You’ll find the show on April 1 and 2 at the Lodge, an art gallery in East Hollywood.
