Public Displays of Altadena—a.k.a. PDA—was a beloved 35-seat microtheater and a “haven for performers” in Altadena that was destroyed by the Eaton Fire. But plans to rebuild are already in place; PDA has raised over $55K so far on GoFundMe toward its $75K goal. And here’s another chance to help out: The Sierra Madre Playhouse is hosting two comedy benefits in one night. The first show—with headliners Maria Bamford, Melissa Villaseñor and Whitmer Thomas—is sold out, but tickets are still available for the night’s second set, where Thomas will take the stage again along with Megan Gailey, Johnny Pemberton and Chris Garcia. All ticket sales and donations collected at the show will go directly to PDA.
