FYF 2013: The 13 best jokes from the comedy tent

While other fests have only recently tried to shoehorn comedy sets into their lineups, FYF has hosted comedians since its humble beginnings at the Echo ten years ago. Regardless, a stand-up set outside of a comedy club comes with a certain amount of awkwardness—as Saturday’s host Jonah Ray pointed out, there’s nothing quite like comedy in the middle of the afternoon when it’s hot and everybody’s sober. But only at FYF could you experience the soft-spoken Ron Funches aggressively shouting at squealing girls, Paul Scheer and Rob Huebel playing a festival organizer and a panicked parent and the obvious plumes of smoke as Doug Benson took the stage.
