The word is out on this speakeasy—Hollywood’s latest cabaret-themed enclave of non-stop entertainment from SBE (The Bazaar at José Andrés, the Abbey). Knock back some Prohibition-style cocktails—we like the Blackberry Smoke ($16) a mix of Cognac D'Usse, triple sec, blackberries and lemon—as burlesque dancers perform their numbers and DJs spin in the mirrored booth. Plush banquettes are placed strategically around the Mark Zeff-designed space leaving ample room to shimmy shake on the dance floor and get lost in the nitrogen cloud and flashing lights. By the end of the night (note opening hours only on Wednesday and Friday nights), you’ll have partied under marquee lights and rubbed elbows with celebs like Rihanna and Wiz Khalifa for the ultimate VIP experience.
