Once mostly the province of blues and zydeco acts, Fais Do-Do (Cajun dialect for "dance party") now stages a variety of events, anything from rockabilly and Brazilian bands to hip hop turntablists. The faded opulent interior and desolate Westside location add to the exotic vibe.
