Friday

Start your weekend a little early with some late-afternoon shopping at the Bunker Hill Holiday Odd Market. The locally-sourced marketplace will set up shop at the Wells Fargo Center (330 S Hope St), with dozens of vendors, live music and a slew of drool-worthy food trucks.

While you're atop Bunker Hill, choose between a duo of Christmas events. Belt out some of your favorite Christmas carols in the Music Center plaza during the free Music Center Holiday Sing-Along. If you'd rather give your pipes a rest and leave it to the pros, head to the Walt Disney Concert Hall for its annual Holiday Organ Spectacular.

Walk down the hill to Pershing Square and unleash all of your Star Wars hype-induced aggression at the Lightsaber Battle LA. Bring your own lightsaber (they're sold out through the event organizers) and just remember not to hit anyone in the face—that is the path to the dark side.

If you're not in much of a fighting mood, listen to some stripped-back harmonies from Girlpool. The local girl duo are playing a holiday show tonight at the Echoplex in support of this year's debut EP, Before The World Was Big.

Saturday

Bundle up in your Gore-Tex coat and get ready to wait in line outside of a gallery on Melrose—it's the only building with a half-naked George Costanza mural—to pop into Seinfeld: The Apartment. The recreation of Jerry's TV show pad is entertaining close talkers and anti-dentites alike at 8445 Melrose Ave through Sunday.

Head over to the Alex Theatre in Glendale for a matinee of the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles Holiday Spectacular. The long-running group is presenting "Brassy, Classy & Sassy," with both a cappella parodies and holiday standards.

Take your pick between a pair of atypical Christmas movie events. Get a dose of both naughty and nice during an Elf and Bad Santa double feature at the Aero Theatre. Alternatively, try not to feed those wide-eyed, furry creatures after midnight as Cinespia screens Gremlins at the Palace Theatre.

Wrap up your night at the Ice House with a headlining stand-up set from T.J. Miller. The Silicon Valley star is bringing co-stars Kumail Nanjiani and Thomas Middleditch along for the show. Plus, Miller teased on his Facebook page that we may see even more Silicon Valley stars there.

Sunday

Head to the Arts District on Sunday morning for the Shreebs x Common Holiday Market. Hit up vendors like Because the Wind, Boyce Studio, Latin Posh, Spoken Glass and more, then fuel up with coffee from Shreebs (try their horchata latte—it made our list of best drinks in 2015!).

Fit in a little bit more shopping just a few blocks away at Artists & Fleas. The handcrafted market will be hosting holiday workshops throughout the day, including coffee scrubs, mocha masks, roll-on cologne and atypical gingerbread houses.

Nothing says Christmas like tapas and topless ladies. Settle in at El Cid for dinner and a performance by Sultry Sweet Burlesque, which is presenting its "Naughty and Nice" holiday show.

Alternatively, close out the weekend at a screening of Die Hard and Lethal Weapon at the Egyptian Theatre. Sure, people have become a bit too smug about touting Die Hard as a not-so-secret Christmas classic, but it's a classic '80s action flick (as is the slightly less Christmas-y Lethal Weapon).
