We love winter in Los Angeles, but on our terms. One of the best things about living here is that you get to choose when to have snow in your life. We like to imagine ourselves living in a cabin with our cold feet propped up by the fireplace as we sip on a good cup of hot chocolate. We're lucky to be surrounded by beautifully snowcapped mountains within driving distance, where we get to enjoy all the benefits of this glorious weather without any of the hassle. It gives us an excuse to take off for the weekend with our friends and pretend we can ski, and right before our cars get buried under the snow, we get to leave! So easy.
