You can take a yoga class with adoptable cats—here's what it looks like

Roll out your yoga mat and focus on your breathing—which hopefully isn't aggravated by feline fur.

Best Friends Animal Society is hosting Me-Om: Yoga with Adoptable Cats, during which shelter cats can roam freely and adorably about the studio. The class takes place Tuesday, June 21, at the NKLA Pet Adoption Center in West LA.

In celebration of Adopt a Shelter Cat Month, Best Friends is hosting the class to socialize some of its adoptable cats outside of their condos. It's a chance for humans to limber up while the feline participants flaunt their personalities—if not their superior stretching skills, too. Yoga instructor Brooke Burgstahler will lead the 45-minute beginner level class; you can reserve your spot here and then bring along a $10 donation to the adoption center to secure yourself a yoga mat.
