We have all felt the L.A. blues in one way or another, ranging from feeling hopeless about the dating scene, hating your job, or even from stepping in something reminiscent to the way you’re feeling. Luckily, we have access to the cheapest form of therapy with the most feel-good and cathartic workout classes ever. Whether you want to feel like you’re in a club or an ashram in Thailand, these instructors are sure to get your endorphins pumping for a healthy pick-me-up any day of the week—no insurance necessary.

Barry's Bootcamp with Alex Sapot

There's no feeling in comparison to staring at your red-lit reflection in a mirror while sprinting on a treadmill beside 20 other warriors, especially when your stride is accompanied by the beats of the best top 40 remixes of all time. Every minute of Alex's classes are in sync with the music, making the hardest workout ever feel like a night at a club.

Maha Yoga with Steve Ross

If you've never done a sequence of downward dog and warrior poses to a playlist consisting of Fleetwood Mac, Miike Snow and Drake, you haven't fully lived yet. An hour of yoga followed by well-deserved meditation in the sunlit room overlooking Brentwood Country Mart is a mighty fine way to work your body, mind and spirit.

The Sweat Spot with Ryan Heffington

If any of Sia's music videos make you want to get up and dance, then you need to take a class with the choreographer himself. Ryan's classes are a mix of modern dance, yoga, ballet and full-on dance party, leaving you drenched and completely euphoric. You will leave with a high so great that you may consider not refilling your prescription at the pharmacy.

Yoga at the Raven with Tony G.

When you enter the Raven, your body is seemingly transported to Thailand, and when you enter Tony's yoga class, your mind enters another dimension of clarity. The combination of poses, meditation and his inspirational guidance will leave you feeling refreshed. If you stay for a session in the sauna and eucalyptus steam shower, you'll be golden for the next week.

Cycle House with Nichelle Hines

Her class is known to be one of the toughest in town for pushing people beyond what they could have ever imagined. But her catchy playlist, unrelenting motivation and effective training make completing the intense 45-minute-ride one of the most accomplishing feelings ever.
