Summer is for outdoor movies and beach trips, but it also marks the return of LA's many food festivals. To kick off the season, Taste of the Eastside is back for another day of showcasing some of the city's finest restaurants—with a primary focus, of course, on the eastside. The 5th annual festival will be held on May 31 at the Los Angeles River Center & Gardens, with each restaurant creating a signature dish for the event.

Here's the full line-up of participating vendors:

Angel City Brewery
Atwater Village Tavern
Bon Vivant Market & Cafe
Diablo Taco
Eagle Rock Juice Co.
El Condor
Feast Catering
G&B Coffee
Gigi’s Bakery

Lemon Poppy Kitchen
Little Dom’s
Malo Restaurant
Maximiliano

A number of breweries made the list, and for good reason. This year, Taste of the Eastside is featuring a new beer garden, hosted by The Greyhound and featuring brews from Angel City and Golden Road. Festivities continue at The Greyhound after the event, too; bring your festival ticket stub (or any proof of purchase) and you'll receive 15% off your bill.

Music? They've got that, too. Bands and DJs performing this year include The Podunk Poets, Redd Carter, Raul Campos, Garth Trinidad and DJ Aire.

So how much is this all going to cost you? A general admission to Taste of the Eastside is $50 in advance, $60 at the door, and includes unlimited tastes starting at 4pm. A premium ticket costs $60 in advance, $70 at the door, and includes unlimited tastes, a bar flight, and access to VIP food and mixology demos. A VIP ticket costs $90 in advance, $100 at the door, and includes all of the above plus early entrance starting at 3pm, early bird parking, a VIP gift bag and reserved front row demo seating. You can purchase tickets here.
