We gave our readers an early taste of the holidays on Saturday during Holiday Spirits, a cocktail demonstration atop OUE Skyspace LA. A couple hundred Angelenos sipped their way through four instructive cocktail stations—and at the bar for seconds, of course—stocked by our friends at the Arts District’s Greenbar Distillery.
We walked attendees through four crowd-pleasing cocktail recipes: Lemon Lavender Holiday Mule, with vodka, ginger liqueur and a splash of Topo Chico Mineral Water; Thanksgiving Daiquiri, with spiced rum and grand hops amaro; Walk in the Woods, with whiskey, grand poppy amaro and a boozy marshmallow; and Hibiscus Beauty, with Anna de Codorniu sparkling wine and hibiscus liqueur.
In addition, attendees were treated to a trip down the Skyslide, holiday crafts from Makers Mess, two giveaways from Twist Your Spirits and a surprise caroling performance from the Los Angeles Master Chorale. Check out some of our favorite photos from the event below.
