After waiting for what seemed like forever—well, since October 2014—Danny Trejo's much anticipated restaurant opened at La Brea and Sycamore avenues earlier this year. Trejo's Tacos was an immediate hit, so much so that now the Machete actor is taking it on the road. That's right: according to NBC, Trejo's Tacos food truck will start popping up in neighborhoods across Los Angeles starting Monday, August 29.
So what can you expect at the food truck? According to NBC, you'll be able to devour signature tacos including cauliflower, grilled chicken and pork and brisket, as well chips and guacamole. Wash it all down with agua fresca and horchata. And even if your hunger is blinding you, you can't miss this black and white food truck with the actor's face painted on it—which we happen to think is a nice touch.
