In an Internet rife with adorable animals, many with endearing minor genetic defects, it takes a lot of cuteness to stand out from the pack.

Enter: cross-eyed kitty.

Cross-eyed kitty is named "Bum" after the San Francisco Giant's pitcher Madison Bumgarner, but we won't hold it against him... because those eyes!

Bum's owner, Courtney Morman (who works at the San Diego Humane Society), adopted the cat last year after he was abandoned along with the rest of his litter. Morman told ABC News that, despite his silly eyes and naturally worried looking face, there's technically nothing wrong with the cat.

Bum used to have a friend named Admirable Kitty Kingman, who recently passed away. But Morman says that Bum continues to be "a great foster brother" to the other cats she brings home.
