Friday
Ride the monorail up to the Getty for Friday Flights. The first seasonal performance of this art-centric take on a tasting flight includes everything from music by Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith to a guitar and cricket (yes, the insect) concert in the garden.
Afterward, head to Largo for Rachel Bloom's "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Live." Bloom has transitioned from one of our comedians to watch to a bona fide star, so it's no surprise this show sold out early on. That said, we were able to a find a few extra tickets available on Largo's site as of Thursday morning.
If you're closed out of that show, try NerdMelt instead for Not Safe: Staff Infection with Nikki Glaser. The stand-up and some staffers from her superbly perverted Comedy Central show, Not Safe, are performing material (free of charge) about dating, relationships and lots and lots of sex.
Get your best Stevie Nicks bouffant ready for the return of Fleetmac Wood. The dyslexia-inducing dance party is pumping out Fleetwood Mac remixes at the Regent Theater for its "Crystal Visions" installment.
Saturday
Let it all hang out as the World Naked Bike Ride comes to town on Saturday. Details about the "bare as you dare" ride will be released shortly before it kicks off, but expect it to pedal somewhere through the Eastside.
See sets from Atlas Genius, Bear Hands, the Mowgli's and more at Make Music Pasadena. This free Pasadena-wide festival is setting up dozens of music stages all over town.
Go nuts for donuts and have some dessert for dinner at Time Out LA's Donut Party. A half-dozen donut vendors will be serving up treats at Avalon, along with coffee and cider.
Celebrate mankind's most physical art form at Dance Camera West Media Festival. Following a screening of dance films from around the world at Royce Hall, you can partake in a free dance-a-long and lessons on the performance hall's terrace.
Try not to run for the hills during the Great Horror Campout. This terror-filled overnight camping trip is taking over Elysian Park with midnight monster visits and its scavenger hunt-like "Hell Hunt."
Sunday
If yesterday's buck naked bike ride was a bit too much, maybe the Los Angeles River Ride is more your speed. Pedal around Griffith Park or trek to Long Beach and back; there are 10 routes to choose from, ranging from 15 to 100 miles, so there's something for all ages and ability levels.
Make your way into West Hollywood for LA Pride and the annual pride parade. The parade kicks off on Santa Monica Boulevard at 11am—just make sure to keep these road closures in mind and consider public transit.
If you'd rather avoid the crowds, hide out at the Hammer Museum instead for a free Labyrinth screening. The George Lucas-produced, Jim Henson-directed fantasy tale has become a cult classic, in no small part due to David Bowie's role as Jareth, King of the Goblins.
While you're there, make sure to check out the opening day of Made in L.A. The third in an ongoing series of biennial exhibitions focuses on work created by 26 emerging and under-recognized LA artists, with everything from painting and sculpture to mixed media installations and performances.
Wrap up your weekend with a performance at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. Throughout two and a half weeks, this showcase of up-and-coming performers and plays stages 1,400 performances throughout Hollywood; tonight's highlights include Sticky Fingers and Paul Dooley: Upright and Personal.
