After hopping around town from the now-under-construction LA State Historic Park to the Whittier Narrows and then Fairplex, HARD Summer has seemingly found its new home. The EDM juggernaut took over the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, and the fest's new, more spacious digs brought a whole new festival element along with it—camping.
But first, let's talk about the music: Flosstradamus, Porter Robinson, DJ Khaled, Claude VonStroke and Dizzee Rascal topped Saturday's schedule at the electronic and hip-hop fest, with Ice Cube reprising his Coachella N.W.A reunion with MC Ren and DJ Yella. On Sunday, Diplo brought a frenzied close to the weekend with a set from Major Lazer, following a day that featured Dillon Francis, Travi$ Scott, Zeds Dead, Madeon and Fat Joe.
Now as for that camping, it was the fest's first year with on-site campgrounds. Festival-goers rolled into the Inland Empire racetrack in cars and RVs ready to tackle the weekend's festivities.
