1. Debunk all of those cliches about nobody walking in L.A. during the Great Los Angeles Walk. Hundreds of walkers will start the free urban hike at the Japanese American National Museum at 9am and, nine hours and 17 miles along Beverly Boulevard later, end up at the beach in Santa Monica.
2. See an entire day of performances throughout the Walt Disney Concert Hall's entrance hall, garden and main auditorium at Noon to Midnight. Tickets to the festival-like day cost $10, with two separately ticketed performances of War of the Worlds.
3. Head to the Theatre at Ace Hotel for Seven Things I’ve Learned: An Evening with Ira Glass. See a multimedia chronicle of the This American Life host's storytelling career, followed by an audience Q and A. Tickets to the 6 and 10pm performances cost $29.50 to $84.50.
