After all, the kitchen’s Viking appliances and gorgeous Macaubus stone countertops practically beg to be used.

With six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, an onsite gym, an outdoor pool, and tennis courts, it really is your ticket to the VIP lifestyle. And you won’t need to worry about privacy either. The house is nestled behind walls, gates, and serene trees over an acre of picturesque park-like grounds, ensuring a true hidden oasis away from the world.

4. A modern Balinese zen spa retreat in the Hollywood Hills

Here’s a luxury LA property with a twist. This little peach of a place is designed in accordance with an Asian – and, in particular, Balinese – aesthetic in mind. It’ll have you feeling like you’re on a spa break, only twenty times more personal because all of this is in your own home. There’s an outdoor heated spa, three astonishingly beautiful bathrooms with stay-for-hours tubs and a delightful balcony with hanging chairs. But what we love the most is the water feature in the garden and those steps leading down to the peaceful sunbathing enclave. In fact, we’re breathing deeper already.

Beds? Three bedrooms. Sleeps up to eight guests.
The space:
Your mind is in Indonesia and your body is in America.

With four bedrooms, with ridiculously comfy double beds and ensuite bathrooms, you’ll wake up refreshed and raring to go every day. 6. An Echo Park design home with gorgeous pool

Another contemporary LA home with a discernible Asian influence on its design, this very cool home is in always-enviable Echo Park. For the uninitiated, that means you’ll be in the heart of LA even though this place will make you feel like you’re millions of miles away from anywhere. We love how ever inch of this place has been curated to the max. Cast your eyes away from that dramatic ceiling and you start to clock all the tiny details: the deliberately mismatched living room mirrors, the echoing of the banana leaves outside with the lush greenery of the house plants, the solitary rocking chair on the hidden patio, the individual tapestry bolster cushions on the sofa… we could go on. This place was built for and by perfectionists, and if you’re one of them you won’t leave disappointed.

Beds? Three bedrooms. Sleeps six guests.
The space:
Effortless Californian chic taken up a notch (or five).
Location perks: Trek the Elysian Park hiking trails for stunning views of LA.
