Three and a half years ago, French photographer Géraldine Freyeisen began documenting the residents of Skid Row; in particular, their art and their inventive and colorful fashion statements. She called her project the Swagabonds, and in October of 2014 rented a studio space in Skid Row where locals could come to collaborate and create art.

Now, Freyeisen wants the art that's been created there to adorn a new clothing line, also called Swagabonds. Each piece will feature artwork created by a resident of Skid Row, as well as his or her signature, with 20 percent of the profits of each piece going directly to the artist who helped to create it. But the line isn't a reality quite yet: Freyeisen needs help in order to launch the business, and has created a Kickstarter to raise funds for production, marketing, rent, etc. When you donate, you'll receive a reward from the Swagabonds photo project or, for the right price, the new line.

Learn more about the Swagabonds in the video below, and sign up here for news on when the online store will launch.
