We took a silver screen surfing trip around the world without ever leaving a Hollywood rooftop on Monday. We partnered with Rooftop Cinema Club for a screening and a sneak peek of the fourth issue of Time Out Los Angeles magazine.

In between sipping cocktails, posing with pool floats and flipping through the magazine, we sat down for a screening of The Endless Summer, Bruce Brown's playful and influential 1966 surf documentary. We actually spoke with Brown about the film's legacy in our latest magazine issue, which hits the streets tomorrow, July 12.

Thanks to all who joined us for the screening—and a special thanks to Jose Cuervo Tradicional for the palomas; Teebsie for the gummy bears and lollipops; Urban Outfitters, SunnyLife and Funboy for the colorful pool floats; and the Montalban Theater and Rooftop Cinema Club for hosting us.
