Well, this seemed like it was bound to happen.

There's an app for pretty much everything (guys, remember the "Yo" app?), and now Shake Shack is getting in on the action. In-N-Out's nemesis, which has locations in West Hollywood, Glendale and Hollywood, just launched a brand new app that lets diners place an order for pick up from their phones. Available for iOS, the app features all the Shake Shack classics—burgers, frozen custard, crinkle cut fries, hot dogs—to choose from before selecting a pickup time and location. Pickup times are in 15-minute increments and all the food is made-to-order.

“The Shack App marks a new era for Shake Shack. In creating our first-ever app, we took great care to develop a mobile ordering platform that maintains the high quality our guests have come to know and love, but now just a tap away,” said Randy Garutti, CEO of Shake Shack.

In true L.A. fashion, you can also list out any allergies or look up nutritional information, as well as keep track of your favorite orders, give feedback and learn about any events going on (you know, burger events). Those pesky lines you've been waiting in? A thing of the past.

Right now, the app is in test launch and only available at select locations around the country, though all of L.A.'s locations are covered. Would you use this app? Have you tested it already? Let us know in the comments below!
