The burger has come a long way since its days of a simple patty sandwiched between two untoasted buns. Today, there are a series of items added to the mix—caramelized onions, sautéed jalapeños and chipotle aioli, to name a few. Hamburger fans agree that this beloved dish should be placed alongside the bald eagle, Mount Rushmore and the Statue of Liberty as one of the iconic symbols of this great nation. But until the words "were so gallantly streaming" refer to the hamburger juice running down your hand, we have an entire day and month devoted to this staple of our American diets.

Laurel Tavern: This spot is featuring their delicious bacon bleu burger with bleu cheese spread, candied bacon, caramelized onions and green apple paired with Boulevard's Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale for only $10. This offer is available all day. 12pm-1am.
Sixth Street Tavern: Downtown's corner restaurant is offering their jalepeño cheddar burger, prepared with sautéed jalapeños, white cheddar, crispy onions, tomato and chipotle aioli, along with ACME's T.C.B. Ale all day for just $10. 11:30am-2am.
Beelman's Pub: All day Saturday, Beelman's is offering their freshly ground bacon hickory burger prepared with hickory sauce, smoked bacon and cheddar cheese alongside a nice cold glass of Founders' Sumatra Mountain Brown Ale for $10. 12pm-2am.
Forman's: Forman's tasty Steakhouse Burger with braised mushrooms, Swiss cheese and crispy shallots is being offered with their Smog City's Sabre Toothed Squirrel Amber Ale for $10. 12pm-1am.
Library Bar: The bar is pairing its signature Library Burger, which comes with caramelized onions, white cheddar and arugula, with an Iron Triangle Dark Ale all night for $10. 7pm-2am.
