Los Angeles, along with the rest of the world, is mourning after yesterday's brazen attacks throughout Paris that left at least 128 people dead. Vigils have been set up across the world, with the Empire State Building, One World Trade Center, Sydney Opera House and other landmarks around the globe lighting up in blue, white and red to show their solidarity with Paris.

Here in Los Angeles, a vigil has been planned for Sunday at 4pm at Cal State Long Beach. Sadly, a CSULB student who was studying abroad in Paris was among those killed in Friday's attacks and this vigil is to honor her, as well as the other victims. Nohemi Gonzalez was a 23-year-old design student from El Monte studying at the Strate School of Design, according to the LA Times

If you know of more vigils happening around the city, let us know in the comments section and we will update our post.

Cal State Long Beach is located at 1250 Bellflower Blvd, Long Beach

This is honestly one of the saddest moments in history. #prayforparis 😔
