While we're pretty pumped for this year's FYF Fest lineup, we can understand wanting to spend those two days somewhere more desirable than an Exposition Park parking lot—say something on the beach.

That same weekend, August 27 and 28, the inaugural Ohana Festival will take over Doheny State Beach in Dana Point. Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder and Lana Del Rey are headlining the two-day music fest, on Saturday and Sunday respectively. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10am, with single-day admission for $99.50, two-day for $199 and a VIP pass for $499.

Saturday's highlights include Elvis Costello, Band of Horses, X and Mudhoney, with City and Colour, Corinne Bailey Rae and Ryan Bingham on Sunday.

The fest's name, as Lilo & Stitch fans can tell you, comes from the Hawaiian concept of family, and as such the beachfront festival is billing itself as a means of giving back to coastal communities, with proceeds benefitting the San Onofre Parks Foundation and an environmental exhibition curated by surfer Kelly Slater. In addition, the fest will host a luau night on Friday at the the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel, with a live auction hosted by roast master Jeff Ross and music from the John Doe Experiment.
