Coachella may be over, but summer music festival season is just heating up—or in KROQ's case, just starting to sear on the grill.

The LA-based radio station has announced the headliners for its annual Weenie Roast, with Red Hot Chili Peppers, Weezer and Empire of the Sun topping this year's lineup. The one-day show will once again return to the Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre on Saturday, May 14—its final appearance at the soon-to-close venue.

Panic! At The Disco, the Lumineers, Garbage, Cold War Kids, Fitz & The Tantrums, Miike Snow, Lukas Graham, the Strumbellas, Nothing But Thieves, Bishop and Bear Hands round out the rest of the radio-friendly lineup.

Tickets go on sale Friday, April 29, at noon. A spot in the back on the lawn starts at $49 before fees, while general admission pit access will run you $150, with other seating options in-between.

Since its inception in 1993, Weenie Roast has held all but one of its fests at Irvine Meadows Amphiteatre. However, the venue's contract with Live Nation is expected to expire in 2017. Adjacent land that was once used for a safari and water park has since given way to housing developments, and the amphitheater's land is likely slated for the same fate, according to the OC Register. As a result, future Weenie Roasts could seek shelter inside the nearby Honda Center—though the 2000 fest was held at Angel Stadium.

Let us know what you think about this year's lineup in the comments—too much mid-'90s nostalgia with RHCP, Weezer and Garbage? Or not enough?
