Thank the ice cream gods! Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams, which recently recalled its ice creams and closed its shops temporarily due to a listeria scare, will reopen in time for Memorial Day weekend, according to a statement from the Ohio-based creamery.
The Los Feliz location, the creamery's first in Los Angeles, will start scooping again at 7pm on May 22 (a week from tomorrow) and normal business hours will resume after that. We're sure the long lines will be back too.
