What's the most interesting date you've been on so far in LA? It involved mushrooms, rollerblades and a jazz bar in Compton.
Beach, mountains or desert? LA exists so they can make outdoors-y commercials in which people snowboard in the morning, surf in the afternoon and then lay about in the desert in the evening with a cocktail in each hand. I don’t like commercials, but I do like geographic variety.
What's your favorite bar and why? Mandrake Bar for the bartenders. My home bar for the jams.
What fictional LA character would you most like to spend the day with? Fletch or Philip Marlowe. Maybe mingle with the folks in Boogie Nights, but drive off in Dirk’s corvette before things get really dark.
What's the best thing about dating in LA? Los Angeles is the perfect mix of high and low. There are loads of interesting people and amazing places to do fun things.
What's the worst thing about dating in LA? There are a sometimes-overwhelming amount of interesting people and amazing places to do fun things. LA is an infinite place, it often seems, and I am a finite person.
What's your ideal first date? Something outside and then inside and then outside again.
