While Black Friday crowds pummeled the Americana, a few art and history aficionados poked around across the street at a sneak peak of the Museum of Neon Art.

Though the Glendale museum is yet to open in full—the main gallery exhibition should be installed by mid-December—visitors can peruse the gift shop. In addition to Americana-inspired decorations, photo books, T-shirts and a lampshade patterned with the museum's diver sign, the gift shop houses "It's About Time," a collection of neon clocks and historic photos.

You could only glimpse the tiniest tease of the museum's main gallery space, but there's enough in the lobby and the lovely paseo to justify a visit if you're in the area. Check out some of our photos from the ongoing sneak peek below.
