You can pretty much find anything you want at Grand Central Market these days—oysters, an entire pig's head, falafel—but it's becoming a place where you can do some substantial boozing, too.

On the heels of announcing that Golden Road Brewing will be setting up shop at GCM comes this: The Courage & The Craft, a boutique spirits, wine and beer shop, will also be settling into the Downtown food hall. Scheduled to open in a 400-square-foot space next to Eggslut in the fall, the shop will offer everything you need to make cocktails: spirits, syrups, bar utensils, bitters, recipes and books, along with a curated selection of craft beer and wines.

So who's behind this latest boutique shop? Well, they're certainly no strangers to DTLA. Bestia's bar program director Nicholas Krok and bar manager Ryan Duffy (Bar Amà, Acme Bar Group) founded The Courage & The Craft to "create a community where professionals and amateur enthusiasts alike can come to discover and share in their love for the art of classic and modern cocktails," says Krok. "The Courage & The Craft is something that we hope to be shared by folks from all over LA and beyond, of course, but it is very much for the living and working community of DTLA to enjoy on a daily basis. You could say it's 100% DTLA born and raised."

In addition to the spirits shop and Golden Road Brewery, a few more newcomers will be moving in: an all-vegan ramen and pho shop, and Bruce Kalman's pasta stall. We highly advise visiting the market while you can still get four avocados for a dollar.
