Calling all queer-loving LA partiers: Head to Los Globos in Silver Lake this Friday for a giant, queer hip-hop dance party brought to you by infamous San Francisco nightlife producer Kelly Lovemonster and DJ davO.
The party, Swagger Like Us, began in San Francisco as a way to provide emerging queer hip-hop artists, DJs and dancers from across the world with a platform to showcase their talents—and fashion choices. With more than 1,000 attendees at each event, Swagger like Us has quickly become a go-to space for music, fashion and queer representation, giving other LA-based parties (like A Club Called Rhonda) a run for their cover money.
Swagger Like Us will take over Los Globos this Friday, February 6 from 9pm-2am. Performances include Jay Boogie, resident DJ davO (Double Duchess), guest DJ Bianca Oblivion and host Kelly Lovemonster. Tickets are $10 before or at the door, and it's 21 and over.
