This is not a drill, guys. If you're in need of 60,000 play pit balls—perhaps you are now, all of a sudden—you need to act now.
Someone in the San Gabriel Valley is looking to donate a whole truckload of these balls, according to a post on Craigslist from earlier today.
But they're only going to a good home. The post says you must respond with how you would plan to transport 100 boxes of the balls, and "your interests in these and what they'd be used for." It also advises a 26-foot truck with a lift gate and you've got to assemble your own team to pack the truck.
We are really interested in the fate of these balls. Converting one of LA's dry/drought-conscious fountains into a ball bath? An upgrade for a ball pit at a rec center that's seen better days? Art installation? An epic prank? Inquiring minds want to know.
