Do all your gift shopping at once at the pop-up shops of Holiday Collective

Holiday gift shopping season is pretty much here, ready or not, and for lots of us that means the onset of fear of that dreaded annual trek to the florescent-lit, chain-store maze known as the mall. What a shopping mall gift lacks in uniqueness, at least it makes up for in the practicality of offering lots of options for all your giftees in one place, right?

This year, ROW DTLA wants to propose a better alternative. For a limited time, their Holiday Collective turns the complex's retail space into a sort of mini-mall where you can shop from a variety of vendors for different types of people on your list, but knowing that everything on offer is curated, hand-crafted and just a bit more special than what you might find some other places.

You’re sure to find gifts for design-lovers, clothes-horses and gourmands among the 11 pop-up shops. There is an outpost of the excellent nursery and garden shop Rolling Greens, a brick-and-mortar shop by local leather goods line This Is Ground, sweets by Los Angeles chocolaterie Milla Chocolates and even L.A.’s only stand-alone shop carrying tokyobike, the Japanese street bike company that you may have seen around the Ace Hotel.

Should you choose to swing by on a Sunday, ROW DTLA hosts Smorgasburg L.A. weekly, so you can fill yourself with shopping snacks that are probably even better than an Auntie Anne’s pretzel (well, maybe).

Holiday Collective at ROW DTLA is open Monday to Saturday 11am to 8pm and Sunday 11am to 6pm until December 30. ROW DTLA is located at 777 S Alameda St.
