Muggles can look forward to a bit of sorcery and magic this holiday season as Christmas arrives at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

The Harry Potter-themed land at Universal Studios Hollywood has been decked out in holiday decor, including lights and wreaths along the snow-capped rooflines of Hogsmeade Village and, of course, plenty of wintry goodies in the gift shops.

But by far the biggest addition to the land is “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts,” an approximately seven-minute projection show that illuminates Hogwarts Castle with dancing lanterns, colorful banners and a Christmas tree, all set to a swelling score. If you saw this summer’s “Nighttime Lights,” you’ll find the concept pretty familiar, though we found this magical Christmas rendition far more captivating.

Elsewhere throughout the land, you’ll stumble upon caroling from the Frog Choir and a festive Thanksgiving-like feast with a roast turkey platter and Christmas pudding at the Three Broomsticks. And then there’s the surprisingly fantastic hot Butterbeer, which we can only compare to an incredibly creamy, butterscotch-flavored substitute for hot chocolate.

Christmas in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter” runs from November 24, 2017 through January 7, 2018 at Universal Studios Hollywood. It’s included with park admission.
