Can't wear a costume to Disneyland anymore? Try DisneyBounding instead.

In addition to stepped-up security at Disneyland, visitors over the age of 14 won't be able to wear costumes or masks into the park anymore. While we won't pass judgment about whether or not adults should be dressing up like Tinker Bell to begin with, we will offer a debatably fashion-forward alternative: DisneyBound.

Rather than throwing on a princess crown or a pair of mouse ears, DisneyBounding is a form of dress-up that uses store-bought and DIY looks to draw inspiration from characters. Not quite full-blown cosplay, it's meant to be a more fashionable take on Disney costumes that you can pull off with clothes from your own closet, or the closest Forever 21.

You'll find thousands of looks on the DisneyBound tumblr, the movement's namesake inspiration board "where Disney nerds and fashion geeks collide." We've assembled some of our favorite DisneyBound looks below. We'll leave it up to you decide whether it's adorable or an abomination.
