Summer has barely just begun and we're already trying to ward off music festival fatigue—but we suppose there's always room for one more.

Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age top the lineup of Cal Jam 17, a rock-focused fest that also includes Cage the Elephant, Liam Gallagher, the Kills, Royal Blood, Japandroids, Bob Mould and more. The festival, which follows the release of Foo Fighters' new album Concrete and Gold, takes place on Saturday, October 7 at San Bernardino's Glen Helen Regional Park & Festival Grounds.

Even though Cal Jam is a one-day fest, you can camp on-site in either a tent or an RV. Those who spend the night will be treated to an outdoor movie screening as well as a Friday-only performance by Big Tony & Trouble Funk. You'll find other familiar festival staples at Glen Helen Regional Park—carnival rides and games, a vendor village—alongside some more unique touches, like twin waterslides, a mobile recording studio and the Foo Fighters Rock 'n' Roll Museum—about which we know nothing more than the name and its red-and-white-striped big top in the map below.

The event borrows its name from California Jam, a 1974 fest that featured in Deep Purple and ELP in nearby Ontario. Cal Jam seems to be channeling a similar rock party sort of vibe, if this statement from Dave Grohl is any indication.

Tickets go on sale Thursday, June 29 at 10am and cost $99, with a Capital One pre-sale on Monday, June 26 at 9am. For better or worse, there's no VIP ticket level, so a GA ticket will grant you access to all of the activities on site. Meanwhile, car camping costs $169 (in addition to a festival pass) while RV camping is $259.
