It's every beer fanatic's dream: Drink some of your favorite brews for hours on end, then stumble right next door to a hotel where rare beers are offered in the lobby and room service includes growler delivery.
In 2018, that dream becomes a reality with the arrival of Stone Hotel from Stone Brewery in San Diego. The 100,000-square foot space will sit right across the street from Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens—Escondido, offering guests a chance to continue their celebration (read: copious consumption of) of Stone beer beyond the brewery. For those staying at the hotel, beers are offered upon check-in, special releases and unique casks will pop up from time to time, and yes, that growler room service is definitely a thing.
The $26 million hotel is being designed by Paul Basile of BASILE Studio, and will include 99 rooms, six suites, a fitness center, three on-site bars (obviously), a restaurant, walking trails, a rooftop garden and a pool (sadly, not filled with beer). Guests will also have access to priority seating at Stone Brewing—an amenity worth the stay in its own right.
You won't be able to reserve a room at Stone Hotel until early 2018, but in the meantime you can check out its progress here.
